Batik Scarf Painting

Join us for a 6 hour class on the art of batik scarf painting. We will start with the basics of batik lukis (hand draw batik), learn to use the tjanting wax pen and continue on to color the piece with the design of your choice.

This workshop teaches waxing and coloring from zero to a wearable piece. We will remove the wax for you and ship it to you.

All materials are provided for a 21x21 inch 100% cotton scarf.
We will also have 7 inch cotton canvas ring available for practice.

This workshop welcomes all ability levels - we have templates and instruction so anyone can create a beautiful piece even with zero experience.

Snacks and drinks will be provided throughout the session.
